About the Book

Firefly meets The Expanse in a pulse-pounding frontier space opera where a transmigrated soul leads a found family of misfits against a fanatical religious organization. Starfall Protocol blends high-stakes action, complex polyamorous relationships, and a reluctant heroine who refuses to back down from any fight.

One soul. Two lifetimes. Three men who refuse to let her face the darkness alone.

Sara Wells had a pretty good life. It wasn’t exciting, but she made it work. Then everything went wrong - it was a literal train wreck. She woke a thousand years in the future, trapped in starship captain Caitlin Retter's body. No instruction manual. No way home.

In a galaxy one wrong move from tearing itself apart, Caitlin's got enough problems without adding romance to the list. But her crew has other ideas.

Before Caitlin can untangle her feelings or her past, a threat emerges. The Starfall Church is purging colonies. When Caitlin makes it her business to go after this fanatical cult, their leader puts a bounty on her head.

Between dodging space fascists, figuring out which century's dating rules apply, and trying not to get everyone killed, Caitlin must answer the hardest question: What is a woman from the wrong century willing to become to save a galaxy that was never meant to be hers?

Starfall Protocol is a character-driven sci-fi frontier story where relationships evolve under pressure, loyalties are tested, and intimacy emerges as a natural part of the journey. Blending high-stakes conflict with slow-burn connection, it’s a story about identity, trust, and the cost of choosing who you stand beside when everything is on the line.

Reader Reviews

If you love it when genres blend, you're going to adore this book. It's part action-adventure space story, part reverse harem romance, and part political intrigue. I loved Caitlin/Sara (that bit will make more sense AFTER you read it), the complicated woman at the center of this. She's tough, but thoughtful. Brave and intelligent. The ending was satisfying while also setting us up for future adventures for Caitlin and her crew.
